Abstract deadlines

Physician, Data and Quality Managers Abstract Submission Deadline:
15 December 2015

Submit an abstract

The deadline to submit Nurses Group abstracts was on the 28th of October. We are pleased to announce that we received nearly hundred abstracts. The review process has started and submitters will be notified mid-December 2015. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Supplement of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Journal by NPG, and will be available on the Annual Meeting website two weeks prior to the Annual Meeting.

EBMT-TV

The EBMT is partnering with the international film and broadcasting company, WebsEdge, to bring EBMT TV to the EBMT 42nd Annual Meeting.

EBMT TV will be an onsite conference television channel featuring a new episode daily, screened around the venue, as well as on a dedicated television channel in selected guest hotel rooms and online. This venture serves to raise the visibility of the hard work of physicians, nurses, scientists and other healthcare professionals involved in clinical bone marrow transplantation and to provide an opportunity to learn about new and ongoing programs that are advancing the fields of blood and marrow transplantation and cell therapy worldwide through science, education and advocacy.

Each daily program has two features: “Thought Leadership” and “Conference News.” Thought Leadership pieces are five-minute sponsored film segments highlighting programs, case studies and best practices in the field. Conference News is a daily program of conference highlights, featuring “behind the scenes” interviews, coverage of conference events, and reactions to the day from attending delegates.

WebsEdge will be reaching out to organisations to describe the “Thought Leadership” program and seek their engagement in creating the five-minute documentary-style films highlighting particular aspects of their work. There are a limited number of places available for the five-minute films.
