First live JACIE online education session

On June 25th, in collaboration with the Latin American Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (LABMT http://www.wbmt.org/en/labmt/), we ran the first live webinar about JACIE providing basic information about the accreditation process and the example of the Hospital Clinic, Barcelona presented by Anna Mantecón, Quality Manager.

The webinar was specifically aimed at centres in Latin America and was given in Spanish. Almost 40 people connected from 11 countries in the region using the GoToMeeting platform. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and we plan to run similar events in the future. The experience has also demonstrated the potential for running such events so keep an eye on www.jacie.org for future announcements or subscribe to the JACIE mailing list at http://eepurl.com/jLxRz.

The full webinar can be viewed here (in Spanish).
